Conceptual webcomics
From Webcomic Wiki
Conceptual webcomics are comics where a formal or structural idea takes precedence over telling a story or delivering a laugh. Oftentimes these comics dispense with some of the key values that define traditional comics art, such as skillful drawing, composition, or scripting, in order to create an unusual or paradoxical effect.
Ryan North's Dinosaur Comics is a notable example, because the same artwork is used for each installment of the comic. North has managed to create a popular and award-winning series while operating under this extraordinary constraint.
Other examples include Emily Horne and Joey Comeau's A Softer World, David Rees's Get Your War On, Rob Balder's Partially Clips, the Tom Hart-associated comics organization Oubapo-America, Five-Card Nancy, Mike Collins' Mary Worth, Threat or Menace, and Tym Godek's The Infinite Gag Strip and My Life With Pets.
